So, as I've still let them retain their dignity, mostly because the gray ones are to hard to catch, I'm not sure which is male and which is female.

I can tell the brown two apart though, because one is super friendly, and that one is a girl.

First doses of medicine went down, well... they went down. Not fantastically, but it worked. amazingly the hard part was the eye goo, and my mom did a stand up job holding onto the kittens as i put the gel into their eyes. Catching the gray ones was difficult, and when I give them their medications this morning, I'm going to try and block off one of their hiding spots, so I can give them another one further up, only so I can reach them better.

I let them sleep in my bedroom, well, they are moving around while I'm sleeping. I was able to peek at the shiest gray one during the night, because it had gotten used to seeing me sleeping there. It's going to take awhile to get them to warm up to me, but at least I've one on my side already.

I'll have pictures of them later tonight, because when I finally got a good shot lined up of one of them... the bloody batteries in my camera died! I've already written like 8 messages to myself reminding me to get batteries when the stores open... I SHOULD remember... lol. Also, prodding, im-ing, and calling my cellphone work to attempt to remind me to actually pick up batteries. I can't wait to start taking pictures of them and show them off, they are fairly adorable.

So, I've got a litter of feral kittens. Somewhere between a 1 1/2 months, to 2 1/2 months old. Two are gray and white, and the other two are marbled dark brown and light brown. Very pretty, though it's a bit hard to tell they are pretty because they look so gross because of how sick they are.

All 4 of them have upper respatory infections, as well as eye infections.

Means I get to give them two types of liquid medications, and this eye gel stuff, that I have to put right in their eyes. I feel so bad because they are already skittish enough without me having to torture them with medications. lol but I'm happy they will all be healthy in a week or two.

Pictures and more info to come. It's pretty hard to get pictures of them right now, because most of them are hiding.

I'm gonna be fostering more as of today.

I can't wait!

Still too lazy to get another photo service, so every one will have to be lj members to see pictures of cute cuddly kittens.

Apparently my hosting the pictures at live journal, makes it so that those without accounts, or those who aren't logged in not be able to see them.

I'm looking into alternative hosting for the pictures, and have lots more to update, and more pictures to show later! :)

So, I picked up the little boy around 11:30. He's got worms, so I have to keep him completely away from Surreal for a few days. Then they can play together, but he has to use a separate litter box. Poor little guy.

He's so damn teeny, it's adorable. The first thing I did was give him a bath, he hated it, but he smelled better after he got one. It is quite a bit easier to give him a bath then Surreal, considering he weighs a little under 1.5 lbs.

He's playful, and terrified of the balls with bells with them, but he keeps trying to hit them, so I have a feeling they will be his favorite toy. He's pretty friendly, though attacks toes, I have a feeling he'll be a love bug.

Sooooo... Is this layout waaay too pink?

I should probably change it, but I wanted to see how it looked for awhile.

ANYWAY!!!
Tomorrow I should be getting my first foster kitten.

Just one, he's a little boy who came in by himself. Apparently he's under 2 lbs. and was found as a stray. He's probably got ear mites, and and upper respiratory infection, but both are common in strays, especially ones that small. They didn't say as to where he was found, or if there were other (dead) kittens nearby. It will be a struggle, but I should be able to take care of him well.

Hopefully Surreal likes him, as I will be relying heavily on her after he gets better, to teach him how to be a 'cat'. Well, as 'cat-like' as Surreal can be. haha.

I'm guessing the first thing I do when I get him back to my house, is give him a bath. They said he looks pretty worse for wear, (I think the girl said he looked a bit 'ratty'). That's to be expected though, with a small kitten that should still be with mommy though.

I shall post pictures of him when I pick him up and bring him home. I have a feeling if Surreal ends up liking him though, and my mother thinks he's cute, she'll end up adopting him. Here's looking forward to my first MSPCA fostering experience.
